Time flies, but not really.

Well I can't honestly think of the last time I blogged on here, but there are many reasons for that. I was never personally a huge computer person and I can't even think of the last time I was on my laptop (probably to apply for a job I will never get). I have actually done a few blog posts on my phone for my candlepin blog, but this one has been neglected. I always liked displaying shirts on here, but since Instagram is SO EASY I usually just post shirts on there. My softball season is in full swing now and I'm playing for two teams (Quincy and Hingham), with both teams I've been having multiple games a week so I've been pretty dead. This week I had games Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. My legs have been pretty dead to say the least. Also in the middle of all this I've been trying to eat better and also hit the pool at the gym when I have an off day. My fibro has been a huge factor in all this, but I'm trying to push it aside and still get done what I have to do. With attempted gyming and softball during my weekdays I still want and like to bowl on the weekends. Then there is those things called friends and I barely get to see them too, oh why can't I just win the lottery and never work again and have fun ALL THE TIME. Its not for lack of trying though, I'm a sad Massachusetts loser who plays the lottery all the time. Next Friday I'm looking forward to getting tattooed by Caz Williamson again, hes going to be doing a 3 week long guest spot at Good Faith in Boston and I suggest everyone I know to go get something from him while he is here. I was lucky enough to grab something when he was here last time and I was so happy with the tattoo and the experience. His name on instagram is TattoosbyCaz if you want to check him out!

New to me alley : Central Lanes in East Boston

Well Garvey and I have been talking about checking this place out forever. After an acquired living social deal for blackstrap BBQ in Winthrop we decided it was time to finally go.
We called and there was a busy signal so we decided to drive by on the way back. The place was dark and the locals were hanging inside, we were the only ones bowling for a while, but it was a super cool place.

Well all of a sudden music was blaring on the touch tunes and I honestly felt like I was in an 80s movie (aka my dream).

The pins had pretty good action and they were reasonably priced. Soon a couple came in and the sounds of pins flying were pretty loud. After 3 strings we decided to head out. I bowled my best game in a while with a 106.

I'm very up and down when I bowl. Dumb pain and being tired.

Hopefully we will be back in the future!

Well I've kind of been avoiding blogger, because it finally made me switch to the new layout. I HATE when things change. On of my best friends got married last weekend and I was a bridesmaid in the wedding. It was a crazy experience! Becky and I were meant to be friends, from the moment we met in NJ in 2007, I just knew we would be great friends. I remember when she first met Mike and its so crazy to think now they are married. The wedding brought lots of emotions for me. I was so happy to be there, but it was very stressful for me in someways. I've been really struggling with my alopecia lately, right now its the worst that its ever been and its just getting worse everyday. I was glad that I was able to help during the weekend of the wedding and we had a great time. Good thing that the hair lady was able to use a hairpiece for the wedding and you couldn't tell that I was approaching Dr. Evil bald status. I didn't really like the make up, but it looked nice and I bet it helped for the pictures. I've been very lazy this weekend, but I did make cupcakes so that must count for something, right?

Lately

Well I haven't updated in a long time. There were times that I tried, but I just lose the oopmth to do it. I feel like a lot has changed in my little unimportant world in the past few months.
I'll touch base on some of the good things, because no one cares about all of the bad.
Garvey, Stef and I went to Philly for This is Hardcore fest. Hung out with some good people.

On the 25th Garvey, Mike, Kara and I headed to NYC to see Quicksand. I seriously think my body is still recovering from it and I had the best time. Here are some videos from the show and its so weird to see myself and my friends in them. Just thinking about the show gives me chills.

You can see my prison striped self during Head to Wall. Its also fun spotting Garvey, Erik and Rich. Seeing the best show of your life while surrounded by some of your best friends is the best thing ever. I hope I didn't crush Rich too much during Dine Alone, hes a good friend and caught me.
Such a bummer he got kicked out :(

On Monday I got tattooed, I'm lazy and just stole the picture from Franz's instagram. I don't take many pictures and its hard to take a picture of your own calf.

A contest and catching up

Well I don't really have an excuse as to why I haven't been posting. There hasn't been anything too eventful going on.
The regular softball season has ended and playoffs are coming up, hopefully we can pull out a first place win for the season, last year we came in third. The two first place teams from last year were bumped up to the A division though, because they shouldn't have been in ours.
A couple of weekends ago I got tattooed by Josh Stephens, he was doing a guest spot at Mooncusser tattoo in Ptown and I decided to make the trek out there to get something.
How lazy am I? I haven't even taken my own picture of it, so I just stole this from Josh's Instagram, well now you know his name and can follow him.

It was also my birthday on the 27th, I didn't do much though. I made sure to get my free burger from Red Robin though.

Okay so................
tomorrow is the end of a contest that I'm entered in. I want to win a Lovesac chair and heres how you can help.

July blah blah

Well its almost halfway through July so I figured I would get a post in. A couple weekends ago Garvey, Mike and I went to Hampton beach. I got a sunburn on top of my suburn so obviously I'm not the smartest burn cookie in the batch. We met up with a few friends and hung out at the white trash riviera for a few hours. Needless to say I was happy to get out of NH and head back to MA. Mike really wanted Ritas so we decided that we would head there. They didn't have a ton of flavors and it was near closing so I decided that blue would do. After that we had some smores at Garveys and then I dropped everyone off and headed home.
The next day was a big day for me, I was going to see The Wall again and this time it was at Fenway. After driving around for god knows how long I finally found a parking spot and Garvey, Mike and I headed to the Lower Depths for food pre show. We were cutting it close for time, but I was able to get my two hot dogs and eat them quickly and then I scooted over to Fenway. Thankfully I was home around 12 and didn't miss too much sleep.
Having the fourth of july in the middle of the week seriously messed me up. I was so out of it the whole week.
That Friday I headed to Harvard Sq. after work for the Boston Strangler/Waste Management show at the Democracy Center, kudos to Tim for doing the show. It was so hot that I felt so gross that I can't even explain it. I did get to get a burrito at Felipes and get some ice cream at JP Licks with Garvey and Kara before the show, I had a coupon for a free sundae so that was nice. After the show we went to Spikes.
Saturday night my friends band Suburban Scum was playing Haverhill so I made the trek to see them.
Sunday I met up with those guys in Boston and had lunch before they went back to NJ. After lunch Garvey met up with me and then I got Mike and then we were off to buy Cheerwine. After the outlets we got pizza at fake Reginas and it was so good. I think I've drank a Cheerwine bottle everyday this week.
Wedneday was the 11th so I headed off after work to get my free mini Slurpees! I got three, only because there are only three 7 elevens near me.
