Hello

Well its Wednesday and I wish this week would go by a little bit quicker.
At this point I'm going to assume if you watch The Walking Dead you've seen the mid-season finale already. This season went by so slow and I'm bummed that they were at the farm for a whole 5 episodes (plus more to come in the second half of the season). The unlikable characters keep getting more unlikeable and I'm pretty irked with what happened with the Sophia incident. Now I will wait months to go back to being mad with every episode, I hope they leave the farm in that first episode back.

This Saturday I'm going to NYC to meet up with Joanna! We are getting tattooed by Mike Adams and Marina Inoue. Its also going to be a birthday celebration for Joanna so of course we are going to get yummy food and treats. I'm taking a 7am bus to NYC and the 11:10 bus home. I'm really excited to hang out and get tattooed!

The past week (Image heavy)

Last Friday my mom came home from Newport, RI. She brought me home a cupcake from Cupcake Charlies and I was excited to try it, because I have heard so much about their treats. I had an Oreo one and it was OKAY. I felt there was way too much frosting on the cupcake and then there was a filling, so I give it a 5.
Saturday morning my mom dropped off Garvey and I at South Station and I headed over to the bus station for my bus to NYC. The Megabus with the mega rude people! I got to NYC and Becky met up with me and we walked around a lot. When we were in Chelsea Market I saw Ted Allen!
We went to Hill Country BBQ for late lunch/early dinner and I got brisket w/ mac & cheese and corn bread. It was REALLY good and I could eat that mac & cheese forever. They only used cheddar and it was perfectly sharp and they burnt it on top just a bit. I love when mac & cheese is simple and not overwhelmed with a ton of cheeses. Becky is vegetarian, she got sweet potatoes and the mac & cheese. She also got a Big Red soda, but we will overlook that, hahaha.
After that we headed towards the show (we were going to see Killing Time and Suburban Scum at the Gramercy Theater) we made a few stops along the way to look at some stores.
I was able to take a couple pictures of Killing Time with my phone, but where I was standing on the side of the stage was kind of a weird angle. I didn't like the venue at all though. Hardcore shows shouldn't have a barricade, there was pretty much no lights on at all, weird movie seats in the back.
After the show I walked back to the Megabus terminal and waited for my bus. I was lucky enough to get a table seat and no one next to me! Yipee!
Pete picked me up at 6am when I got back in (what a sweetie!).

Thanksgiving night Garvey, Pete, and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings. The Best Buy line was next to us through the window and it was wild. My mom and Brenda actually stood in line at Walmart and now we have a working tv!

Sitting around at home

Well the past few days have been pretty rainy and gross. Last night I made Pete dinner and we didn't do anything exciting, but tonight we are going to go out to eat and bowl. We have been bowling a lot lately (Garvey too) and we are really trying to raise our averages. At Westgate lanes during the week if you bowl after 9 its half price so we usually do that during the week.

This weekend is going to be very fun! Friday night I'm heading to Providence for this show:

I get to see Mitch again, his band is Sacred Love. I'm so excited that I get to hang out with him :) Last time that they played here I wasn't home.

Saturday I'm taking an early bus to NYC so I can see Killing time & Suburban Scum.

I get to hang out with Becky all day so I'm so excited. I haven't seen her since August and it wasn't for very long :(
I'm taking a really late bus back home and then Sunday Pete and I are going to go see Martha Marcy May Marlene! I'm not a huge movie person, but I want to see this one.

November 9th

Well I'm sitting here at work on my lunch and I can't believe its already November 9th! There are many things swirling around in my head and I hope time doesn't fly by too quickly for the rest of this year. I'm thinking how I should probably start crocheting a few scarves for christmas and I should start planning some posts for Tee till death for the rest of this week. Now I'm not a very crafty person, but I can make a scarf. I wish it was something I could sell, but I just don't think it is worth it for me to make an etsy page or anything.

Yesterday I took a day off of work, I have a few vacation days I need to use before the end of this year and I did a focus group in Boston yesterday and figured it was worth taking a day. This was the longest one I ever did, three hours of writing stuff down and my little hands were hurting. After it ended I picked up cupcakes at Cakeology and hopped on the red line to Pete. We kind of drove around aimlessly for a long time before we finally found somewhere to eat. We grabbed chinese food in Swampscott and then headed home.

I have three days that I need to use before the end of the year and I've been brainstorming as to what I could use them for. I don't really plan to go away and I'm going to New York next weekend to see Killing Time and also on Dec 3rd to get tattooed with Joanna. Maybe I'll take a day to go to the casino or something. I really hope I can score a new job before the year ends, just saving on my health insurance would make me soooo happy!

Well I will leave you with a music video and a picture of my new calendar I bought Monday night.
